I'M A BUSY MOM / BUSINESS OWNER / ARTIST TRYING TO MAKE TIME FOR HERSELF AND HER ART...

I have always loved the arts, but only recently did I pick up the paintbrush again.  I work in acrylic paints focusing mainly on florals and landscapes (with a bit of abstracts here there!) Living on the West Coast of Canada on beautiful Salt Spring Island, BC, I have the luxury of being surrounded by nature.  I'm a co-owner of an inn, set in lush bright gardens that continuously influence my artwork.  My landscapes are inspired by nature walks along our surrounding coastal beaches. 

My passion for painting began as a young child... walking door-to-door in our neighborhood selling my artwork for up to 5 cents!  But that young artsy entrepreneur took a long break from art, as I later focused on my finance career in New York City.  I met my husband there, and our first daughter spent her early years growing up in our little apartment in Brooklyn, NY.  But in 2017, when our first was a toddler, and our second was on the way, we decided to take a big risk.  We dropped our precious careers and moved here to Salt Spring.  Now, with my girls in school and a bit more time on my hands, I have finally returned to painting.

I love painting florals and landscapes, using a loose style with colors that make me happy.  I hope my artwork brings you joy as well.
